Wand Making

Over the weekend we went to the Faerie Festival at Spoutwood Farm. The kids made really cool wands. I thought for sure the boys would want to make talking sticks, but nope, they wanted wands :)

The people working there had all sorts of things in their nifty tool bags and yet today I found myself fixing the wands, LOL.

Under Construction

I am currently moving all my blogs from the Blogger platform to Wordpress (using GoDaddy) and this one is next. I apologize in advance if this site looks a bit messy or even possibly goes down for a bit during this transition. Rest assured, it will be back :)

Bunk Beds for the Boys

My boys are 14 moths apart and they share a room and so bunk beds was definitely the way to go. I looked at twin bunk beds thinking that hopefully as they get older and we save the money, we could take the beds apart and then each boy would have a twin bed.

From Building to Playing and Back to Building

CJ has spent most of his life building, fixing, and modifying guitars - and he is darn good at it too!

He also uses different effect pedals, like an m audio sustain pedal. We all enjoy listening to him play :) The best part of all of this is that now he works for C.F. Martin Guitar - so now he builds guitars and can lay them too, for a living!

My Other Mommy Blog

I have a wide range of blogs - mostly updated depending on my mood. Currently I am in the process of moving all my blogs from being hosted on Blogger to being hosted by GoDaddy and using Wordpress.

Here is my other mommy blog, The Independent Mom, using a simple, free Wordpress template. I need to find one for this blog because I will be moving this one next.
